The Rosary Aotearoa was established through the spiritual initiative of Fr. Sam Pulanco - Parish Priest of Diocese of Auckland.

This became the annual apostolate of the Catholic faithfuls participated by parishes, community, household, families and individuals praying and meditating the Holy Rosary simultaneously all over country on First Sunday of October at 3 PM every year.
